The Audi vehicle owner is responsible for the performance of the required maintenance listed in the Owner's Manual. Audi recommends that the owner retain all receipts covering maintenance on their Audi vehicle, but Audi will not deny emission warranty coverage solely for the lack of receipts or for failure to ensure the performance of all scheduled maintenance.

The Audi vehicle owner should also be aware that Audi may deny their warranty coverage is their Audi vehicle or a part has failed due to abuse, neglect, improper maintenance or unapproved modifications.
